Sorry for the delay in announcing the total proceeds but the final amount was $6,500. Molly and I presented Zoo Atlanta with the check last Wednesday and they are very thankful for all of the support. Thanks once again to everyone who attended and if anyone is thinking of holding a similar event, please e-mail us as we would like to help out as best we can.
Thanks again!

Thanks Everyone!
Thanks to everyone who came out last night, Pints for Pandas was a huge success!!! We are still crunching the numbers to figure out exactly how much we raised for the Give So They Stay Campaign. Check back later this coming week for this announcement as well as event photos, etc.
This whole event started with an email to 50 of Molly and my friends and through word of mouth, Pints for Pandas became so popular that we had to turn people away at the door last night.
Of course we did not pull this event off just the two of us. We had an amazing group of supporters to which we owe a HUGE thank you! Of this group we would like to recognize for all of their time and effort: Miller Jackson, Jonathan Baker, Kristen Shaw, Paige and Eric Teusink, Pat O'Brien, Lee and Jaime Childers, Jonathan Bailey, Josie Krause, Zoo Atlanta, Toby Parker, and Brian Stay. Most importantly, thanks to all that came out to raise a pint for Atlanta's pandas!
We couldn't have done it without you!

WHAT IS PINTS FOR PANDAS?!?!
Pints for Pandas is a fundraiser to help keep our
Giant Pandas in Atlanta.
When: August 14th,
9:00PM - 12:00AM
Where: SweetWater Brewing Company
195 Ottley Drive,
Atlanta, Georgia, 30324
All profit from Pints for Pandas ticket sales will be donated directly to the Zoo Atlanta Panda Program. Your ticket donation will be used to protect the remaining 1600 giant pandas in the wild and to continue Zoo Atlanta’s collaborative research on understanding this mysterious species.
Without a successful fundraising campaign, Lun Lun, Yang Yang and Xi Lan will be returned to China, and their species will no longer be represented at Zoo Atlanta.
Pints for Pandas is not a stuffy fundraiser though! In addition to saving the Pandas you can expect to have a damn good time; enjoying a variety of delicious SweetWater Beers, an excellent selection of tunes played by 99X's Pat O'Brien, and the company of a few hundred of your closest friends.
Pints for Pandas Ticket availability is limited so use the "Buy Now" button to buy your tickets online today!! Do your part to save the Pandas use the Share button to send this to everyone you know through email and Facebook!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at: pintsforpandas@gmail.com.
